A highly respected, friendly and professional conference company who organises global conferences within the sustainability sector. They help large corporates to understand the value of sustainability in business, from the plastics debate through to deforestation and slave labour. They help corporations to understand how being more sustainable can actually be good for business and help to futureproof profits. 

The role of Sponsorship Sales Executive

This is an INCREDIBLY UNIQUE opportunity for someone to fast-track their career straight into a conference sponsorship position. Working in a small, close knit team you will be selling sponsorship opportunities across 10 events per year within the sustainability space. Those sponsorship opportunities will include speaking slots, exhibition space, marketing and branding, podcasts, webinars and much more. 

Clients you would be selling to will include tech companies, sustainability consultants, auditors and some of the large corporates themselves (who want to be seen to be supporting sustainability).

You will also have the opportunity to attend your events, meeting your sponsors in person and ensuring that they are happy with their sponsorship. That means that you will get to travel to South East Asia, USA and Europe!

You would be working in a young and dynamic team environment where you are giving the training but then autonomy to get on with the role. Therefore you wont have the usual pressure to make a certain number of phone calls per day etc - instead, you can focus on winning new business.

Requirements for this Sponsorship Sales Executive Position

  • Highly articulate, confident and outgoing
  • 2:1 or higher degree grade from a good university
  • Polished with a strong written ability
  • Organised and driven
  • Sales experience or a real desire to build a professional sales career
