The Role of Senior Account Manager | Business Development Director

There are 2 vacancies within this growing department so depending on your skills, you will either wish to apply for the Senior Account Manager position or the Business Development Manager role. Either way, the primary purpose of your role would be to sell high value corporate subscriptions to technology companies wishing to target large retailers. You would meet many of them face to face and would need to clearly articulate (and demonstrate) the value of the platform.

Please note there are two different roles available:

Senior Account Manager: As a Senior Account Manager you will be given 40 accounts to manage

Business Development Director: As Business Development Manager you will be solely responsible for new business

Requirements for the role of Senior Account Manager | Business Development Manager

  • 5+ years subscription/SAAS sales experience
  • Strong account management/growth OR strong new business (depending on which role you are applying for)
  • Experience of demonstrating in person the value of a business intelligence platform to senior level decision makers
  • Strong face to face experience dealing with C Suite professionals
  • Consultative approach to selling
  • Confident, self assured and intelligent
  • Stable career path
  • Strong track record in sales
