The Company

A fast-growing, large events and intelligence company operating across the healthcare, construction, HR and similar sectors. Their business intelligence division is the fastest growing and most profitable part of the organisation and as such they are looking to hire a new Sales Manager as part of that continued expansion. 

The role of Sales Manager (new business team)

As Sales Manager you will take ownership of the management, development and performance of a team of 4-5 business development professionals, who will be selling a suite of business intelligence solutions into the healthcare sector. In all, they currently have around 14 different BI platforms, each with 4 segmentations.

Requirements for the Sales Manager (new business team)

  • Strong new business sales experience within business intelligence
  • 12+ months' experience of managing a high performing new business sales team (within the business intelligence space)
  • Likeable, highly articulate and university educated
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excited at the prospect of a player/manager style role (although most of the focus will be on management)
  • Stable career history
  • Able to work from London offices 2 days a week
  • Experience of selling BI into the life sciences sector is highly desirable
