The role of Sales & Business Support Manager
The purpose of this position is to provide comprehensive administrative support to the key accounts sales team. Once a client has agreed on an event sponsorship package (sometimes across multiple events), your role would be to then manage the post-sale administration, process and relationship with these key sponsors (all of which would be large pharmaceutical clients). You would coordinate and manage the delivery of their package.
This is a highly regulated sector and there are lots of potential issues around compliance. Therefore you would work with both the client and internal stakeholders to ensure that contracts are accurate, signed and compliant before then making sure that the commercial solution they have paid for, goes ahead without any issues. You will therefore be dealing with multiple internal departments to ensure the smooth and compliant delivery of their commercial package.
This role requires close collaboration with the marketing, operations, sales and finance teams, as well as direct communication with clients to deliver outstanding event experiences.
You will also help with other sales support tasks such as putting together sales decks, marketing materials and similar.
