The Company

A large scale, highly respected global event organiser with investment at the heart of the business and a continued culture of evolution and growth. They have a number of laeding global event brands across various sectors.

The Role of Head of Marketing

You will take ownership of a team of 4 marketers and will be overall responsible for all of the marketing to visitors, partners and vendors for a series of 2 large scale Confex events and a launch conference series, all of which take place in South Africa in 2022. Whilst one of the events is a launch, the two large confex events are highly extablished and well respected. The events sit within the wider energy and mining sectors.

Requirements for this Head of Marketing position

  • 8+ years exhibition marketing experience (5+ of which have been at a senior marketing level)
  • Experience of structuring and executing international marketing strategies across multiple exhibitions
  • 2+ years experience of managing other marketers
  • Used to working in a fast paced environment
  • Confident communicator
  • Stable career history
