The Company

A fast growing, dynamic and highly respected global corporation with leading brands across retail, marketing, ecommerce, product development and much more. They have a sociable and fast paced office environment with high commission earning potential (most BDM's double their basic salary).

The role of Business Development Manager

As Business Development Manager (BDM) you will be selling subscriptions to business intelligence and market insight as well as bespoke consultancy/advisory services. These solutions are already proven to help some of the largest global brands, Ad agencies and media owners to make more effective marketing decisions and ultimately deliver more effective marketing campaigns.

70% of the client you will be approaching are warm leads who have requested a demo or asked for more information. Many will have also been vetted by your Business Development Executive. Deal values range from £2.5k to £750k so you will be someone who not only is strong at business development but is highly experienced in delivering consultative high value commercial solutions.

You will be selling to media owners and Ad agencies primarily. The platform that you are selling subscription to is used by many of the largest and most recognised brands/companies in the world, as well as many large Ad agency groups and media owners.

If you have the relevant experience the client will consider someone who is paid up to £43k basic per year for working 4 days a week (equiv of £52k basic).

Requirements for this Business Development Manager

  • 8+ years media, business intelligence or creative solutions sales experience
  • Experience of selling to Ad agencies is highly desirable
  • Consultative approach to selling
  • Polished, articulate, mature and driven
  • Stable career history
