The Role of Account Manager
As Account Manager you will take ownership of 25-30 large accounts, grossing around 1.5m in revenue per year. Your role will be to nurture those relationships and ultimately retain and grow account revenues by upselling and cross-selling additional solutions. Many of your accounts will be telecoms companies, so if you have sold to telecoms companies in the past, that will be highly desirable.
Around 60% of your time will be spent hunting for new revenue from your clients.
The services which you can sell are all complimentary to one another and include research (sold on a subscription basis), consultancy, data and event solutions.
