The Company

A global research company based in St Albans (near the station) which provides leading market-insight, bespoke research and market-trackers for companies within the consumer electronics and media sectors (primarily). Clients include the likes of Apple, Microsoft, Google, Sky, ITV and many others.

The Role of Sales Executive

As Sales Executive you will start by learning the key sales skills to flourish in the role, as well as having extensive training to understand the benefits and value of the research solutions you would be selling.

Once you are up and running, you will start off by spending around 80% of your time selling to new clients globally (20% account management), although every new client you win, you will keep, so the balance will shift more towards account management as the year progress.

Furthermore, you will be able to use their impressive client list to persuade potential new clients to listen to what you have to say. For example, you may decide to target Samsung's global offices and would be able to leverage a conversation off the fact that Apple are already a client who benefits from the market insight your company provides. 

You would taught to be in control of the full sales process form initial lead through to closing the deal and managing the client.

You will also get to attend international client meetings up to 2 weeks every quarter!
