The Role of Senior International Account Manager

As Senior International Account Manager the primary purpose of your role will be to sell advertising/sponsorship solutions spanning print, online and events (conferences/awards). They have brands which sit both within the COSMETICS and PHARMA sectors so will consider you for both portfolios.

You will be selling both to new and existing clients and will travel to meet international clients (6 or so times a year).

There are some exciting extra benefits to this role as well. For example, if you are meeting clients in France, Germany, Dubai, USA, China etc you can add your holiday onto the end of the business trip meaning that you don’t pay for your flight out to the destination or home again (as the company will always pay for return flights from a business trip even if it’s a week later).

Requirements for this Senior International Account Manager position

  • 3 - 6 years multiplatform advertising sales experience
  • Ideally some conference sponsorship sales and award sponsorship sales experience
  • International sales experience would be beneficial
  • Second language would be beneficial (particularly French or German)
  • Confident, highly articulate and outgoing individual who is a self-starter
  • Someone outgoing and sociable – they often socialise together and so they look for people who are happy to fit into that culture
  • Able to travel – 6 times per year (from 1 day to 1 week)
  • Driven and money motivated
  • Strong at new business development. Whilst only 50% of the role is new business, they will only continue growing as a company if the sales team win new business
  • Hard worker who is mature enough to have grown up conversations with senior level decision makers
