The Company

Mid sized, fast growing b2b media company with a portfolio of leading b2b publications, websites and events. They have a lively family feel to the business with regular socials.

The Role of International Account Manager

As International Account Manager the primary purpose of your role will be to sell advertising/sponsorship solutions across a leading website serving the b2b COSMETICS and beauty sector, its respective publication and an accompanying conference.

You will be selling both to new and existing clients and will travel to international meetings around 6 times per year (from a few days to a whole week).

There are some exciting extra benefits to this role as well. For example, if you are meeting clients in Dubai, USA, China etc you can add your holiday onto the end of the business trip meaning that you don’t pay for your flight out to the destination or home again (as the company will always pay for return flights from a business trip even if it’s a week later).

Requirements for this International Account Manager position

  • 18 months to 6 years digital advertising sales experience
  • Experience of selling advertising online and (ideally) in print
  • Ideally some conference sponsorship sales experience
  • International sales experience would be beneficial as most of their clients are based in Europe (France, Germany). They also have clients in the UK, China and USA.
  • Second language would be beneficial (particularly French or German)
  • Confident, highly articulate and outgoing individual who is a self-starter
  • Someone sociable – they often all socialise together and so look for people who are happy to fit into that culture
  • Able to travel – 6 times per year (from 1 day to 1 week)
  • Driven and money motivated
  • Strong at new business development. Whilst only 50% of the role is new business, they want someone who understands that they will only continue growing if they go for new business
  • Hard worker who is mature enough to have grown up conversations with senior level decision makers
