The Role of Head of Content & Community

As Head of Content & Community for their flagship £5m portfolio serving the senior HR sector, your role will be split into 3 primary functions (see below) with management responsibility for 5 full time staff.

  1. Oversee conference production (including managing conference producers)
  2. Oversee the editorial output of the news-led website targeting the same audience (you do not need editorial experience as they will support you in this function). You will manage a small editorial team.
  3. Development of a community of the most senior level global HR Directors with the aim of utilising these relationships to secure digital content, event speakers etc. 

This role will suit an individual who manages a small team of conference producers and is excited at the prospect of also running an editorial function for a leading, highly profitable portfolio. 

Requirements for this Head of Content & Community position

  • 5+ years conference production experience
  • 3+ years people management experience
  • Editorial experience is desirable but not essential as they can teach this side of the role
  • An unwavering focus on quality of content
  • The ability to understand/translate key market drivers, uncover the pain points and hot topics of a market, build invaluable relationships with senior HR Directors across the globe and ultimately oversee the delivery of a market-leading portfolio of conferences and their respective news-led website
  • You will be strategic minded, extremely well-organised with a high attention to detail
  • You will be someone able to motivate and supportive those under your management
  • Stable career history
