The Company

A small, friendly organisation with an office dog and no office politics. They are a close knit team who share the common goal of continuing to grow (already strong) digital content/advertising revenues across their current portfolio of 2 websites (soon to be 4 and beyond). 

It is a quiet environment at the moment but this new Sales Manager will be tasked with managing a partly-new team of junior sales people as well as leading from the front, getting on the phones and delivering strong personal revenue.

The Role of Digital Sales Manager

As Digital Sales Manager your role will be a combination of selling/leading from the front and managing/developing a junior sales team of 3. You will have help from external trainers so most of your time will be spent actively selling to new and existing global accounts.

Specifically you will be selling b2b performance based campaigns to large corporations like Bosch and Siemens. Those campaigns do involve some standard rich media, but most of the revenues come from data capture via native content (white paper downloads, ebooks, surveys etc).

Requirements for this Digital Sales Manager role

  • 4-10 years b2b digital advertising sales experience (including experience of selling nature content/branded content)
  • Positive minded, outgoing and intelligent
  • Sales management experience (2+ years)
  • Proven track-record of personal sales
  • A natural motivator of people
  • Stable career history
