A large, growing global exhibition and conference business operating in various markets including food, travel and tourism, transport and oil and gas. They have a fast paced sales environment which rewards sales excellence and has a strong training and development legacy.
The Role of Business Development Manager (exhibitions)
This global exhibition and conference business is building a small new department of elite business development professionals who will sit across all of their portfolio of events and will essentially move from portfolio to portfolio depending on where the need for new revenue is greatest. You may therefore be driving new business into their flagship fashion portfolio for 6 months but then move over to the transportation or oil and gas portfolio for 3-6 months.
You will be selling all manner of commercial opportunity from exhibition space through to creative sponsorship and thought leadership.
